Last post on the subject



1.The uncle is not at fault here. He's just demonstrating whatever he demonstrate (I don't understand what he write-care to translate it for me?)
2. The police is not at fault too. Actually, police are entitled to take any person that is suspected of making disharmony or such to the 'lokap'.
3.The uncle is maybe a little at fault as he is obstructing the road at one point. The more crucial mistake is protesting by his own. It is like saying " come police, come and catch me"
4. The police is maybe a little at fault as...hmm..you judge it yourself.
In the end, everybody is happy. Police manage to do their job and the uncle gets to be a martyr in the BERSIH 2.0 'crusade'



1. How come these guys are not arrested. From my humble opinion, they are surely obstructing the road, exclaiming harsh word and causing disharmony?
2. Oh ya. I'm sorry for my mistake. 2 of them is arrested

1. If indeed it is a tear gas, I don't think it is on-purpose. If you learned physic, gas is easily spread. How could the police prevent some residual of gas to flow to the hospital.
2. But, If indeed it is not on-purpose, I expect the police should came out to the media and apologized to the all the patient that is effected  by their action
3. Or maybe, it is not tear gas. maybe water
4. There are many picture showing how police resort to violence to BERSIH participant. But there are also picture of BERSIH participant who are harsh to the police. So, who is to be blame?

1. The police's kawad was awesome. Clearly they have been trained for this situation.
2. I pity the guy that is wrongly arrested. Maybe he's at a wrong time at a wrong place, ( or a wrong shirt maybe? )
3. Some of the protestant are not completely aware of what they are protesting.

Effect and follow up of BERSIH

1. The main objective of this BERSIH is to hand over the momerendum of 8 demands, but in the end the memorandum is still at due. Ambiga claim they will hand over the memorandum on another day. But no more rally at that day

2. Some claim BERSIH had been a huge success with over 50000 people attending.Well, BERSIH may fail at sending the memorandum but it certainly raised awareness among the people. People now are more educated. Information travels at a click of a finger. But if nobody click, how will news travel? but with BERSIH, they encouraged people of all ages to search for the real information, not just what is reported in the news alone.

3. I am curious at how bias the global media could be at reporting about this event. Is this the indication that that BERSIH has outside political influence. 

In sum, BERSIH 2.0 certainly have a large positive and negative impact on Malaysia. Who knows which impact is greater. Up to the reader.
