To understand this topic, we must first know what is the different between Jin, Syaitan, and Iblis.
There are billions of syaitan but only 1 iblis. The 1 iblis is the one in the prohpet Adam's story. Iblis refused to bow down to Adam even after Allah instructed it to. When it is banished to the earth, it asked Allah to prolonged his life until Kiamat so that it could continue to disturb human and drag us all into hell. So, Iblis is still alive until now. Iblis came from Jin family.
Jin, is a living creature made out of fire wheres we human are made out of clay. Jin lives many years before human.
"Dan Aku (Allah) tidak menciptakan jin dan manusia melainkan supaya mereka menyembah Ku (Allah)"
Surah al-Dzariyat : ayat 56
Some Jin are Islam. Some are Kristian, Jewish. (Jin Islam is after Prophet Muhammad S.A.W time)
Some Jin are good. Some can be bad.
Some obey Allah, and some refuse to follow.
But the one that chooses to follow Iblis teaching is called Syaitan.
People nowadays imagine Jin as a bad creatures.
The truth is they are just like us.
Both human and Jin are slave to Allah
The term " Sejahat-jahat manusia,sebaik-baik Jin" is not really accurate.
There are Jin that is Islam, and living, and praying, even giving islamic lectures (ceramah) to their fellow kinds.
Now that you can differentiate the different, we can start to discuss about the topic.
What is Orang Bunian? Some call it elves. Some say they are the mix between jin and human. Is it true?
We often heard this kind of conversation:
" weh baru2 ni aku masuk hutan, jumpa orang bunian..lawa gila!!"
"a'ah..Dia ni ada orang bunian tolong dia 'tarik duit'"
" Weh kat kawasan lombong XXX tu perkampungan orang bunian. Ko jangan pergi kencing situ. Bengkak nnt"
Some people say that Bunian is just a myth. A lagend or tales that older people tell to younglings to prevent them from wondering off too far. Some believe it 100% and connect it to many supernatural phenomena . In my opinion, the condition is correct but the term is wrong.
Jin is the so called orang bunian. Like I said earlier, Jin live like we human. They eat, they breed, they jokes. So, it is not a suprise that they have a 'perkampungan'. And it is not a suprise that if you do anything inappropriate there, you will suffer some consequences. (imagine you walk into a stranger house and you started throwing garbage, or take a piss inside. Of course the house owner will be mad right?)
About the 'tarik duit', Yep it can be done. But I will not share it here. ( I also don't know ). But remember, If you asked help from other than Allah, it is considered syirik.
Some of the syaitan are called Qarin. Ha..As I'm typing, I'm 100% sure there 1 Qarin here beside me. Hehe (creepy)
Everyone have one. This Qarin is like your personal Dosa Advisor 24-7. Once a child is born, There will be 1 syaitan assigned and this Qarin will stick with you until you died. This is why, when you go see bomoh, the bomoh will know everything about you. He use his Qarin to ask your Qarin about your information. and yes, he can talk to it but again I won't share it here. So next time you meet a bomoh, don't be suprise if they know certain intimate thing that only you would know.
I noticed that it is the trend this day. When your possesion missing, people will go to bomoh to 'menengok' to find out who stole it. Yes, the bomoh will know who ( because your Qarin know who). but your doing is already considered syirik.
About seeing a beautiful orang bunian, I would say...hmm.. how lucky you are.hehe.. no lah. Jin, can change its appearance. So, it is not imposibble if you saw a jin that has appeared in the form of a beautiful lady. It's better than seeing a horrible looking Pontianak right..hehe..The same goes with all our 'hantu melayu'. Pontianak, hantu raya, toyol. They are all Jin.
It think that is all for now. There are many more to write about Jin. One post is not enough. But the purpose of my post today is just to give you a basic picture on what Orang Bunian is all about.
In conclusion.Orang Bunian is Jin. Jin exist. Jin is different than human. But our porpose are the same. To worship god. Wallahualam
