How To Sleep less!

For an engineering student like me,workload is huge. You won't find time to do all your work. 24 hours is not so long actually.

 24 hours
-8 (Sleep)
-8 (lectures)
-2 (daily activities like take a bath,journey to class,praying)
-2 (eat)
-2(Sport/game/entertainment)
= 2 hours!!

2 hours? We can't possibly do all our work in 2 hour. Notice that big 8 representing sleep? we can reduce it to 4 or 5. That way we'll have more time.

It is possible to reduce your time of sleep.The trick is to know how

  • Exercise. It will help increase your body temperature.Thus,helping your body to achieve deep sleep.You see,our body temperature fluctuate from 36 to 38.We feel sleepy when our body temperature fell. When we exercise,we increase our maximum body temperature. So the temperature drop will be higher and brought significant result to our sleep
  • Expose yourself to sunlight in sufficient amount.Low exposure of light will influence our body to produce melatonine hormone which is a sleep hormone.This is how mother nature thought us to sleep during the dark and wake up during the day.If you are always in the office,buy bright lamp to put in the desk.
  • Avoid coffee as it will disturb the circadian rhythm (body temperature). Coffee, only helps during a short term. When we drink coffee,our blood vessel got dilated so the blood pressure inside brain will be higher thus the burst of energy. but it exhausted our body so our body will need to rest.Some people take this as a que for another cup of coffee and so,he continuously exhausting his body.You should also avoid alcohol and cigarette,It will do you no good 
  • Control your diet. Bodily fluid is essential to maintain a good fluctuation of body temperature. Try to eat before maghrib (dawn).That way,our body have time to process the food. When we sleep with our stomach full, our bodily function must separate into 2 part.1 for mechanism to maintain good sleep,another 1 to digest food so our quality of sleep will not be good

*After 3 days of no sleep,I finally get to use my comfortable and warm bed. I slept like a zombie for 9 hours straight! haha.This coming week is going to be very painful.It's study week already.On the bright sight,I know cuti is getting near! holiday yeay!*
